In 1989 Central Europe was opened up to Christian Missionaries after forty years of Communist rule. The Lutheran Churches in these countries asked the LC-MS for help to reconnect to their Christian and Lutheran heritage. This video is of DEC David Fiala at a June 17, 2014 gathering in St. Louis with the theme "From Historic to Tangible: Making Connections in Central Europe as Part of God's Mission." The work goes on, but this will give you a taste of what is happening. The video is about thirty minutes long.
