Vacation, Day Twelve
The Lord be with you
Tomorrow will be my mother’s 90th birthday party. It will be held at Diane’s home. Kitty and I helped clean house today. Rachel and Dixie went to Los Angeles to check out some universities up there. This evening we went over to Steve and Tracy’s for dinner and general visiting. Claire and Gerry, came over, as did Diane. Though many of Steve’s children have married and moved out, all who could came over also, though only Joshua's spouse Natasha was able to come by. Andy, Claire’s son, came by. Of course, my sister Cathy and mother were there, and Bill, Tracy’s dad. We ate Mexican food, talked, sang some, and played a game called Apples to Apple. All in all, a great evening.

John didn't tell you who, out of 10 players, won the Apples to Apples game - it was Kitty! She smoked them all; she had 11 cards, the next closest was 8 cards. No one could figure out how the oldest person at the table kept getting her card picked! I will not reveal my secrets!
