It's Time to Register For Tending the Flame - Outreach Conf.

Five Sessions of Workshops
Are you curious on how to incorporate social media into your ministry, adding to your women's ministry program, how to reach your neighbors, and having everyday conversations with our Muslim neighbors? These are all topics covered in Tending the Flame workshops.

 This 3 day summer outreach conference features:
  • Jock and Gail Ficken leading us into a greater understanding of the extraordinary mission that God has placed into our hands. 
  • Workshops on topics such as Being a Disciple-Making Church, Social Media for Congregations, Livestreaming Worship, Mapping Center, Becoming a BLESSING people, Celebrating Our Diversity, Using Social Media in Celebrating Holy Days, Families Connecting, Cancer Companions and more.   • LOST AND FOUND will be teaming up with Robby Fulton (Concordia, Conover) to provide an exciting teen program. In addition, LOST AND FOUND will hold a concert at the neighborhood picnic on Saturday evening at Good Shepherd - minutes away from the hotel.
  • 5 sessions of workshops Friday and Saturday afternoon!
  • Children's Program - The team from Messiah, Charlotte NC is back to shape and lead this event designed for infants, young children 4-Kindergarten, and 1st through 5th grade.
  • The Worship Team of Rev. Yared Halche and Rev. Don and Marcia Schaefer will call us together and lead us in devotion, praise, and prayer. 
  • An incredible iNeighborhood picnic, cookout, and concert at nearby Good Shepherd, Midlothian on Saturday evening.
LOST AND FOUND
Pass it on! Don't miss out on the last chance to see this band perform. After almost 15 years this is their farewell tour. Many SED youth and now young adults have seen these two talented singers perform through the years at Youth Quakes, Youth Encounters, and the National Youth Gathering.
