The Lord be with you
The video below is titled “You Are Not Alone.” It is about
Mental Illness. Rev. David Preus shares real comfort for those who are impacted
by this issue, either those who have such illnesses or those who know such
people (family, neighbor, etc.). By extension, it also brings real insight and
comfort to those facing other challenges such as crippling illnesses, natural
disasters, being the victim of a violent crime, etc. It is a hair over half an
hour long. I feel it is very good.

Very interesting video; very good in proclaiming that God's crosses we bear, even (if not especially) those with mental illnesses, are used to bring us closer to God so He can love us. Also a very good point made that God is not looking at people, waiting to hammer them when they sin; He is the God of Mercy and Justice - all of this shown and borne on the heaviest cross in all creation, the cross of Jesus Christ, who saves all who have faith in Him, including those with mental illness.
