Join discussion on potential implications
of Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage ruling

Free to be Faithful webinar — 9 a.m. Central, May 28
Speaker: Jim Campbell of Alliance Defending Freedom

As the Supreme Court deliberates on the legality of same-sex marriage, the country and the church await the final outcome in June that may bring about more questions than answers. How might the court rule? What are the potential ramifications? How will this affect LCMS pastors and their congregations?
Jim Campbell, senior legal counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, Center for Marriage and Family director and key litigator in high-profile cases across the nation, will answer those questions in an upcoming Free to be Faithful webinar on Thursday, May 28, beginning 9 a.m. Central.
Campbell has been involved in defending marriage, religious liberty and freedom of conscience against legal attacks. He defended a New Mexico wedding photographer’s right not to use her creative talents to promote a same-sex commitment ceremony and is also part of the legal team that defended California’s marriage amendment (Proposition 8).
To register for the free webinar, complete the online registration form, email infocenter@lcms.org or call 888-THE LCMS (843-5267). Spaces for live participation in the call and webinar are limited, so please register now to join Campbell and your fellow Lutherans in an honest conversation about the implications of the Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex marriage.
Can’t make it? A recorded version will be made available online shortly after the call at lcms.org/freetobefaithful.
