The Lord be
with you
Tomorrow, on
the History Channel, and then again Monday, on the Lifetime channel, the
Bible will be brought (once again) to cinematic life. This effort covers the “entire”
Bible. I put “entire” in quotes because, even if you leave out all the
prophetic and poetry books, which are not stories and therefore hard to film,
you still have way too much material to cover. Even though this particular
mini-series has five episodes of two hours each, much will have to be omitted.
Still, it looks like it will be exciting. Check out the trailer below.
I’ve set my
DVD to record each episode. You may want to do the same.
