The Lord be with you
This coming Sunday we will be remembering the Free Evangelical Lutheran Synod in South Africa in our prayers. If you would like to join your prayers to those of the members of Lamb of God, below is the prayer we will use.
Dear Jesus, you have blessed the Missouri Synod with many
sister denominations around the globe who share our love for you, your truth,
your people, and those who have not yet come to know you as their Savior. Today
we remember before your throne the Free Evangelical - Lutheran Synod in South Africa, and
their Bishop, Rev. Dr. Dieter Reinstorf. For over a century this church
has stood for your Gospel truth, inspiring all who know of them to do the same.
Though founded in the countryside, they now seek to reach into the cities and
even across national boundaries. We ask that you continue to
protect and bless them, and that they might inspire us to reach out with your
life-giving Gospel.
